At the beginning of this year, 2009, someone suggested I celebrate turning 70 by starting a blog. I didn’t think I’d take to it, but I was wrong. As well as my writing and things connected, I rabbit on about various and sundry things that interest or entertain me, from the perils of art history to being offered a seat on the train. There are also lists galore: music, books & films.
